Niels Clausen til Holm fik ved Rettertingsdom stadfæstelse "paa et stockeneffnt wdgiffuit" på Nørvangs Herreds Ting lydende på Holm og Kragsig. Om fem gårde inklusive Kragsig leverer kannik i Ribe Hans Marquordsen (den katolske kirkes repræsentant) og Niels Clausen sig en retskrig, hvor Marquordsen tog genbrev. Kragsig havde tilhørt Ribe bispen siden 1328. Familien Strangesen Bild har tilsyneladende ejet noget i Brande sogn, for i 1537 gør Tørkell Clausen den grund gældende "att were kommen fraa hans forelderne" for Rettertinget, det gik om en eng. I sagen om Holm og Kragsig får Niels Clausen et "strax breff" og fire dage senere et "ridebreff" og ridemænd udsendtes for at fastlægge skellene. Ifølge TRAP V, Ribe Amt s. 828 om sædegården Nørholm i Torstrup sogn, var Niels Clausen søn af Claus Strangesen død ca. 1511. Claus arvinger fik ved mageskifte 1524 et forlig med kongen om Nørholm, måske er Niels Clausen der nævnt til Nørholm. Efter reformationen 1536 bemægtiger han sig Brandholm. Niels Clausen til Holm fik ved Rettertingsdom stadfæstelse "paa et stockeneffnt wdgiffuit" på Nørvangs Herreds Ting lydende på Holm og Kragsig. Om fem gårde inklusive Kragsig leverer kannik i Ribe Hans Marquordsen (den katolske kirkes repræsentant) og Niels Clausen sig en retskrig, hvor Marquordsen tog genbrev. Kragsig havde tilhørt Ribe bispen siden 1328. Familien Strangesen Bild har tilsyneladende ejet noget i Brande sogn, for i 1537 gør Tørkell Clausen den grund gældende "att were kommen fraa hans forelderne" for Rettertinget, det gik om en eng. I sagen om Holm og Kragsig får Niels Clausen et "strax breff" og fire dage senere et "ridebreff" og ridemænd udsendtes for at fastlægge skellene. Om fem gårde inklusive Kragsig leverer kannik i Ribe Hans Marquordsen (den katolske kirkes repræsentant) og Niels Clausen sig en retskrig, hvor Marquordsen tog genbrev. Kragsig havde tilhørt Ribe bispen siden 1328. Familien Strangesen Bild har tilsyneladende ejet noget i Brande sogn, for i 1537 gør Tørkell Clausen den grund gældende "att were kommen fraa hans forelderne" for Rettertinget, det gik om en eng. I sagen om Holm og Kragsig får Niels Clausen et "strax breff" og fire dage senere et "ridebreff" og ridemænd udsendtes for at fastlægge skellene. Hun var gift 1. gang med Otte Clausen nævnt ovenfor, bror til Niels Clausen. Otte Clausen døde 1571 i Ribe og derefter giftede hun sig 2. gang med Ove Nielsen Jul, der døde 1599 begravet i Brande kirke. Hun har altså i 1600, da hun døde, opholdt sig ved hendes datterdatter Karen Clausdatter Strangesen på Brandholm. Denne var datter af hendes søn Claus Ottosen Strangesen, som allerede var død.
